SIOP Boston 2010 Hotel Cancellation Policy
ROOM BLOCKS
You will not be able to request/reserve blocks of rooms. All hotel room reservations will be first-come, first-serve.
HOTEL SELECTION
If the desired hotel/category is already booked upon receipt of a reservation request, the SIOP Housing Bureau reserves the right to arrange accommodations in another hotel/category based on request specifics.
CONFIRMATIONS
Hotel reservation confirmations will be emailed, faxed or mailed from the SIOP Housing Bureau once a reservation has been secured with a payment. You will only receive a confirmation from the SIOP Housing Bureau, not from the hotel. If you do not receive a confirmation within two (2) weeks post reservation submission, please contact the SIOP Housing Bureau at +1.800.974.3084 or by email.
CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS
All reservations require a guarantee. A first night's deposit is required to guarantee/hold your reservation. If not guaranteed, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your room reservation.
Please note: The hotel may charge a non-refundable deposit of one night's room fee and tax to the credit/debit card submitted with your reservation promptly upon receipt of the reservation on/after September 24, 2010. When making a new reservation, please be aware your credit card expiration date must be valid through 10/2010 in order to secure your reservation. Please have a valid credit card and expiration date available.
Cancellation Policy: No cancellations will be taken over the phone. Please submit all cancellations in writing via email to siop@experient-inc.com. Cancellations must be made by September 24, 2010 by email. A non-refundable cancellation fee of one night's room fee and tax may be charged for all cancellations made after September 24, 2010. Please do not contact your assigned hotel directly as reservations are managed by SIOP Housing Bureau. Please note if you do not cancel your reservation and/or do not arrive at the hotel on the check-in date specified below, the first night's deposit (non-refundable) will be charged to your credit card on the night of your expected arrival and your entire reservation will be cancelled.
No-Shows: If you do not arrive at the hotel on the date indicated in your acknowledgment, you will be considered a "no-show," which will result in the cancellation of your room reservation in its entirety and you will be charged a non-refundable penalty of one night's room fee and tax.
